The lassies and one lad of the Burke-Conroy School of Irish Dance at our gig at Wildwood Golf Club last night. Big fun ! Our old friend Mary Conroy, now director of the school, was the first dancer I ever hired for our Irish Show for AAA travel many years ago. She's still kickin'. This was the 6th year John Garrick (piano) and I have done their St. Patrick's Day Dinner. And I get to sing 7 irish songs.
To get you - and me - in the mood for St. Patrick's Day events here is a great little Irish tune with fiddle, piano and tinwhistle. Enjoy !
Getting my Irish on early tonight at Wildwood Golf Club with John Garrick on piano from 6-9 PM. Then Saturday from 11 AM - 2 PM I will be fiddling Irish jigs, reels and airs at Fifth Avenue Place. Free. Family-friendly. Open to the public. Stop by after the parade. Happy St. Patrick's Day ! #St.PatricksDay #Irish #FiddleMusic
