3/26/12 Jason & Cristina

The Pittsburgh Marriott Airport Hotel was the scene for a rare Monday Wedding Ceremony and Reception.  The couple wanted to go to Vegas to get married but the bride's mother insisted on doing something here and I think they were all glad they did. Very warm inside and out and family-friendly with the couple's kids, nieces and nephews dancing up a storm.  It was smiles all around.  Thanks to Jeannie, Nate, Mike and Georgie at the hotel for their help and a very special thanks to Cheryl from Parkway Florist who suggested I be a part of this wedding and so many more she has referred me to.
High notes:
Brides Procession: "Canon In D" by Pachelbel
Recessional : "Ode To Joy"
First Dance: "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing"

Yes, really.  This was the 4th time we have been invited to play in the Levin Furniture stores for their VIP Customer Sales Event.  Big crowds - until the Penguin game started.  Great big space to let the new Phillip Injeian violin loose. Thanks for Melanie Black for having me in Wexford and George Susnjar for having Violinist Nate Goodrich at the Century Square store.

3/17/12 Linda & Dave's Wedding

The Camelot in Warrendale was decked out in green for this big Irish wedding. The fun started with a long Cocktail Hour to warm up the crowd while I played all of the Irish ballads and fiddle favorites I knew. Then the Bride, Groom and their families gathered on the dance floor to begin the service officiated by Mayor of Franklin Park Dennis O'Keefe (pictured below).  The groom's son watched the ceremony from South Korea via Skype - see the laptop screen in the photo. After dinner they were ready to rock and roll as a crew from New Jersey wanted plenty of Springsteen, classic Motown, and Disco plus some contemporary hits for the younger crowd. The coffee bar was stocked with a bottle of Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey to make a proper Irish coffee.
Processional: "Simple Gifts"
Recessional: "Kesh Jig"
First Dance: "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You"

Gorgeous, stunning and out of this world are a few words that start to describe the Ceremony setting in the Urban Room of the Omni William Penn Hotel for this first class Wedding.  Cocktails started off the evening before guests "ooh'ed" and "aah'ed" over the sight you see in the pictures.  Then it was into the Ballroom for dinner and dancing until the clock struck 12.
