1/12/13 Katie & Kevin

Solo/Electric Violin with looping station for the Ceremony
DJ music for Cocktails
Strolling Violin for Dinner
DJ music for dancing

The Chadwick in Wexford was decked out for this lovely afternoon wedding. Everything took place in the balroom where the guests took their dinner seats and stayed comfy for the rest of the day. Some couples are more emotional than others and Kevin and Katie were near the top of the charts.  In a pre-wedding meeting the week of the event Kevin said he could not wait to get married because "I love this girl".  You might be surprised at how rare it is to hear that unprompted.  The rest of the day was a reflection of this closeness.

Music highlights:
Bridesmaids Procession:  "Jesu, Joy Of Mans Desiring"  Bach
Bride's Procession: "Can't Help Falling In Love With You"  Elvis.  On electric violin.
Sand Ceremony and Roses: "Simple Gifts"
Recessional: "This Will Be An Everlasting Love"  CD
Postlude: "Treasure" Bruno Mars  with the first few seconds cut out  "Just Say Yes" Snow Patrol

Intro Music: "Marry You"  Bruno Mars
Cake: "My Guy" Mary Wells
First Violin Request: "Clair De Lune"  Debussy
First Dance: "Can't Help Falling In Love With You" Michael Buble
Wedding Party: "Stand By Me"  The Drifters
Bride and her Dad: "Then They Do"  Trace Adkins
Groom and his Mom: "I Hope You Dance"  LeeAnn Womack
Longest Married Couple: "L-O-V-E" Nat Cole
Last Song: "Come Away With Me"  Norah Jones

Coolest thing: The groom's grandfather sang in many bands in the 50's and 60's so the couple surprised him by digging out a recording of a song he played guitar on called "Long Route Home" with everyone dancing and clapping.
